Actron Driving Academy Policies

General

All lesson fees must be paid in full before the start of any driving lesson or road test session. Payments for completed lessons or road test sessions are non-refundable.
During lessons, only the student and the Actron Driving Academy instructor will be in the vehicle. An additional fee of $30 applies for each extra passenger who wishes to ride along.
If the student arrives late, the lesson will still begin at the scheduled time, and no additional time will be provided.

Lesson cancellation

All students are required to carry a valid BC driver’s license during every lesson. Failure to present the original license will result in the cancellation of the lesson, which will not be rescheduled. Students will be responsible for the full cost of any cancelled lessons.
If you need to cancel a driving lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice will incur a $45 rescheduling fee.
Any cancellation made less than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a charge equal to the full appointment fee as a rescheduling fee.

Package Expiry

All lessons, including those purchased as part of a package, are non-transferable under any circumstances. Students must complete all lessons within 12 months from the date the package is purchased. After this period, any remaining lessons will expire and be forfeited.

Package Cancellation

Students who cancel a package after attending the first lesson will be charged the individual lesson rate for each lesson taken. A $48 registration fee will also be applied, and any remaining balance will be refunded.
Once the refund has been requested, the refund may take up to 10 business days to be processed.
The refund will be issued using the original payment method unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon between the user and Actron Driving Academy.

Road Test Booking

Road tests may be booked either by the student or by Actron Driving Academy. However, the student must sign a consent and release form before Actron Driving Academy can book a road test on their behalf. Additionally, students must be actively enrolled in a training program or taking driving lessons before a road test can be booked by Actron Driving Academy.
Actron Driving Academy reserves the right to cancel any road test appointments it has scheduled.
